Poet and Essayist



Pilar Christiana Graham is a poet and nonfiction writer. Her poems and essays have appeared in several journals and anthologies, such as: SundogPithead Chapel PressHaunted Waters Press – From the Depths; Blackberry; Poetry MidwestIn the Grove; and San Joaquin Review.

Pilar is the 2017-2018 Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program Scholar recipient in Literature, and also the sole Recipient: Graduate Student Research Merit Award (Poetry). California State University, Fresno. 2006.

In addition, Pilar has served as a poetry editor and judge for both local and national events. Pilar received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from California State University, Fresno.
